We recently requested estimates from several (05-06) 4.5/5-star electrical contractors in/around Port Saint Lucie for replacing our main electrical panel, updating our pool cage wiring/outlets, and boat dock. By far… Stotts was the most prompt, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable.
Andrew was great… to the point where he took the time to remove the electrical panel cover, photo the existing circuitry, check the existing wiring, and also photographed the requested work/upgrade for the pool cage and boat dock. None of the other electrical contractors even came close to this level of detail…
Additionally, Stotts' price was more than fair/below the other electrical contractors' estimates, and included the costs of permits; whereas the other contractors only deemed the electrical panel required a permit, which was inaccurate per county code compliance.
One electrical contractor I would not recommend is Collis… please feel free to see why via my Google review on their site.
Again, I feel more than confident/comfortable in choosing Stotts.

Brian and Kevin outstanding and would recommend to you for any job. Have to add note that the flickering lights in the house was not the new breaker box that they installed, but it was Florida Power and Light, which found the neutral line from the transmission station was defective and that actually was the problem according to them. So kinda sad Stott did not see that before the new box was installed, but kinda wanted a new box anyway so all ok. But Stott rep said they checked that so not sure what happened. Anyway, call your electric co first.

This is an early review—installation yet to occur—but communication, knowledge, and professionalism have been outstanding! Oddly, we seem to be in a period when many companies are either poorly organized or just don’t get what customers rightly expect for responsive and accurate communications. Stott Brothers Electric has an awesome front office and our field tech Mike was very knowledgeable and accurately detailed the proposal. I’ll post a final review after the installation, but if the actual job goes as well as they’ve done so far, I will highly recommend them! Okay, so the installation today was flawless. The office sent us a reminder on Friday, the tech sent a text today prior to arrival, and the team arrived on time, accompanied by FPL to disconnect power prior to panel replacement. The job was coordinated well with FPL and local permit/inspection. The two installers, Blake and Brian, were courteous and professional. They did a great job. And the topper was they cleaned up, processed our final invoice, and provided immediate completion documentation. I highly recommend this company. This is what we wish all Florida contractors would do. Glad to do business with a good company.
